Paralegal (Immigration Services)

Position Overview

Fire501 Immigration Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our mission of providing accessible immigration assistance to low-income communities. This role will assist in preparing documents, organizing case files, and supporting future DOJ-accredited representatives.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation of immigration forms and supporting documents
  • Organize and maintain client files and records
  • Conduct basic legal and factual research
  • Communicate with clients in a professional and respectful manner
  • Support case tracking and documentation processes
  • Assist with intake of new clients

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Interest in immigration law and nonprofit work

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience. This position may begin as a volunteer or stipend-based role during initial development.

Online Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview

Fire501 Immigration Services is looking for a creative and driven Online Marketing Coordinator to help build our digital presence and expand outreach to underserved communities. This role focuses on social media, content creation, and online engagement.


Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Create posts, graphics, and outreach campaigns
  • Assist with website updates and content development
  • Develop strategies to reach immigrant communities online
  • Support email campaigns and digital communication efforts
  • Track engagement and recommend improvements

Qualifications
  • Experience with social media management or digital marketing
  • Basic design skills (Canva or similar tools)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Understanding of nonprofit or community outreach is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Compensation
